bitches and trucks

It's great to see all the flames arising about www.bitchhitmytruck.com. It is not over yet. That bitch pulled the fake-out 'i have insurance' move and went back into hiding.

I believe the site should have the pictures plus the pictures of Patrick's truck coming up tonight or the next night. Keep linking, flaming, and expressing your disgust over the situation. We do know that she definatly knows about the site and Patrick will be on the Radio waves in Austin Thursday (don't quote me--check the website) to talk about this mess.

What else to say other than 'Bitch Hit My Truck!' ... .com

to shoot or not to shoot..

So i spent a good majority of the day playing September 12th: a toy world. Thrilling let me tell you. But it made me think for a second. I tried real hard not to shoot, but couldn't do it. I killed a terrorist, but in all that glory..i had also killed an innocent civilian. While the lifeless body was laying there, friends rushed over to mourn their fallen friend. Then, in rage, they became terrorists themselves! And then i had to kill them! Soon, all that was left was a bunch of crumbled buildings and a lot of terrorists. It was about this time that i began killing the civilians because it was easier.

that is all.

oh, coming soon.. www.bitchhitmytruck.com . stupid bitches.

maybe i'll catch fire..

i am guessing that everybody pretty much posts about sxsw, so i'll keep mine to what i liked.

Red vs. Blue was badass. The guys that created this Halo Machinima did a Q & A session at the end that was hilarious and shed a lot of insight on the behind the scenes action. Bought their season one dvd and had them all sign it. What can i say, i'm a dork. Some of y'all might recognize one of the creators, Gus, from this video.

Hit a few parties up earlier that week meeting some interesting people from all over. Ran into Morgan Spurlock, creator of Super Size Me. What can i say other than what a badass. 'Super' nice and totally down to earth.

Saw Modest Mouse rock out at La Zona Rosa on Wed. Great show,also saw Jason Lee there.

Cake at Austin Music Hall was very rockin. They played a new song due out very soon with the catch phrase "No phone, no phone i just want to be alone today, no phone, no phone." He must have made the audience repeat that line 50 times before he was satisfied (or maybe frustrated).

David Cross, Alkaline Trio on Friday. Was way to drunk/tired to stay for nofx. David Cross was hilarious, crossing butt-clinching boundaries as usual. Alkaline Trio jammed out to songs about death, alcohol and drugs....can't get much better than that. Had to hit Whataburger up that night to ease my disease. Interestingly enough, talked to [info]chalupacabra about late-night-taquitos-next-day-pains. You would think that i would have learned by now..

The Old 97's show on Sat was kick ass. They always put on a good show, even with robbed stage time. Checked out Coheed and Cambria after that. Can't complain too much...i had a great week. now to recover from running from one end of sixth to the other.

BTW, [info]nugget's sxsw iCal integration rocked! I liked very much.

Best Buy always results in goodness

So [info]dopplertx and i head to Best Buy to pick up new PS and some PlayStation2 goodies for his brother.
We walk through the makeshift, wanna be Fry's "impulse shopper" isle and are called up to the next available register.
Dopper pays for the PS2 items with cash. Next to be purchased, the PS:

//Semi Punk Girl with Name Tag "courtni" and Red and Blonde Streaks// "That'll be 64.23"

Doppler pulls out his "wallet" (some cards stuck together and a peice of trash), only to reveal, The Linux Card*Thunder* *Lightning* *More Thunder*

*Hands her the card

//Doppler// "Here you go"

//SPGwNT"c"aRaBS// "Oh how cute"

*Doppler giggles, "Thanks"

//SPGwNT"c"aRaBS// "You know, i just had a man come in here and use a card just like this"

//Doppler// "Really?!"

//SPGwNT"c"aRaBS// "Yeah a couple, a man and his wife"

//Doppler// "Wait, wait, you mean a guy that had this card actually had a wife"

*SPGwNT"c"aRaBS looks at us stupidly

//SPGwNT"c"aRaBS// "Yeah, umm, it has something to do with computers, right??"

//Doppler// "Yeah, kinda"

//SPGwNT"c"aRaBS// "I like penguins"

Finally got dopplers computer hauling ass, it's like someone shoved a rice burner in that atx case!
Next, wireless PS2....

Opals Fun

Good fun last night at Opal's. Hung out with the whole crew. [info]gev wrote about it. ;)
Met some other friends there, one that is graduating today. Then i proceeded to get drunk and leave my
card at the bar...(thanks [info]dopplertx for rescuing it.) not much else, strolled into work atlittle late,
and the only comment i recieved from my boss was "went drinking last night again, huh?"

On another note, so google is my spellchecker/dictionary (i know you use it, don't lie) and i search 'graduating' and
'rescuing' which both proceed to bring up religious links. Is this a sign or should i be scared?
